  • “A picture is worth a thousand of words”

Photograph can tell complex stories which may need more than a thousand words in writing. Some photos embedded with its ideas or metaphor which needs your imagination. Other than that, photography also tells the photographer styles, preferences, concerns, character and so on. A good photographer captures not only sharp photos but the expression thru his/her eye. It is some how like an article by an author.

Timing is the most important factor for photographer because it may only come once. Using the correct setting and equipments at the right time is the biggest challenge of photographer. I’m now shooting on various objects which I believe it will help me to gain some shooting skill and techniques. I don't want to miss any opportunity which comes across.

This section is where I share my photography experience that includes of my photo blog, photography tips and tricks, stock photography experience and some cameras review.

Photos: Bird Photography using Olympus Zuiko Kit Lens

I know it sounds a bit stupid for shooting wildlife birds using my Olympus Zuiko kit lens but I really want to give a try after seeing some stunning bird shoots in PhotoMalaysia.com. Yes, I managed to shoot some birds but the photo quality is totally out.

1.    Kingfisher

After the shooting session, I really can feel that birding is much much much harder compare to macro photography. The main reason is the powerful eye of the birds and its fast movement. I can only come to closest ~ 15 feet from the birds. Beyond that, the bird will fly away.

2.    Blue tailed bee eaters

The birds are relatively very small in the photo due to the poor telephoto capability of my kit lens (ZD 40-150mm). All the photos were shot at 150mm focal length which is equivalent to 300mm with my 2 x focal length multiplier. I choose to handheld the camera to allow myself to move to the closest distance. Image stabilizer in my Olympus E-510 is set to IS1.

3.    Unknown ID – Hawk Eagle
